PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 19, 2011 - Plaintiff, a 40 year old disabled mother of two, was operating her veh bmw M5 specification icle on Highway 19 in Baton Rou Infiniti m hybird ge when she came to a c 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 omplete stop in order to execute a left turn. The defendant driver was not paying attention and he drove his 18-Wheeler into the rear of Plaintiff's vehicle. As a result of the collision, Plaintiff began to experience neck pain and occasional pain in her arm. An MRI revealed that plaintiff was suffering from advanced degenerative disc disease. Plaintiff's treating physician did not feel that epidural steroid injections would be of any benefit given the extent of her degenerative condition. For this reason, she proceeded to surgery and underwent a cervical fusion. The surgery was a complete success and Plaintiff only attended one doctor visit thereafter. Plaintiff did not have any lost wages and her total medical expenses were $89,000. The case was resolved for $400,000.00.
